DESCRIPTION:Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned presenter of a 
 poster at a conference\, this workshop will give you tips on how to make 
 your poster memorable. We will go over some basic principles of research 
 poster design. We will also critique real poster examples to gain a better 
 grasp of what makes a poster pleasing to the eye. Some nifty PowerPoint 
 tools that can make your poster assembly a lot easier will be covered as 
 well.\n\nLocation: Graduate Student Center | 3615 Locust Walk | Room 
 304\n\nLight snacks will be provided. Feel free to bring your own 
 lunch!\n\nThis event is cosponsored by Penn Libraries and the Grad 
 Center.\n\nThis workshop is part of the Research Communication series that 
 prepares students to participate in the Penn 3 Minute Thesis cosponsored by 
 GAPSA and the Graduate Student Center.
