PEDAL: Practical English for Daily Living In-Person
Registration is now open for our Fall 2022 Practical English for Daily Living (PEDAL) English as a Second Language (ESL) classes here: https://upenn.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_79z7ojUhcWzRwZo. We are patiently awaiting the launch of our new PEDAL website. In the meantime, please see (and share!) the attached flyer with your networks and reach out to me with any questions.
As a reminder, PEDAL classes are open to adult (17+) friends and family members of the Penn community who do not speak English as a first language, regardless of nationality/citizenship, location, education background/level, etc. At this time, we cannot accommodate any current Penn students, scholars, or faculty members. All PEDAL classes are free of charge and are taught via Zoom by talented second-year graduate students who are in the process of earning their master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at Penn GSE.
The Fall 2022 PEDAL session begins Wednesday, September 21st from 11am-12:30pm ET. We are excited to pilot an 8:00pm-9:30pm ET evening section for the Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 classes this semester; preference for the evening section will be given to learners from far-East time zones (e.g., South Asia, Central Asia, East Asia, and Southeast Asia).
