Using Analogies to Explain Your Research [Ivy+ Professional Development Series] In-Person / Online
2:00-2:30pm: Learn how analogies can help you connect with your audience!
2:30-3:00pm: Identify analogies that are relevant to your research. Participants will get a worksheet to help them.
Location: Graduate Student Center | 3615 Locust Walk | Room 304 and online
This is a hybrid session. Students who are in-person and online are welcome to stay for both parts.
This workshop prepares students to participate in the Penn 3 Minute Thesis cosponsored by Career Services, GAPSA, and the Graduate Student Center.
Ivy+ Professional Development Series
This program is part of the Ivy+ Graduate Student Professional Development Series, created and cross-promoted by deans and directors at Berkeley, Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, MIT, Penn, Princeton, Stanford, UChicago, and Yale to help meet the professional development needs of all Ph.D. and master’s students. These programs are also open to Penn professional students.
